A note from Tim Dutton, SCOPE Executive Director:

It's true, I will be leaving SCOPE after eleven-plus years. What a pleasure to have been in this position and what an honor to work with you. The SCOPE board will soon start a search for a new Executive Director, assuring that the commitment to community engagement continues without interruption.

SCOPE has an abiding faith in the power of citizen-led change and in the capacity of improved well-being to spring from the skills and capacities that already exist here - connected citizens make a better community; that is unchanging and evidenced by the ongoing work related to the Community Data Collaborative and the neighborhood-based engagement with the Resident Community Changemakers.

In addition to partnering with the SCOPE board and staff as this transition plays out, I will work with the Institute for the Ages, an organization born of the wisdom and energy of more than 1000 people here in Sarasota County.
